Frank holds a USCG OUPV captain’s license and has performed much of Mavis’s maintenance. A handover offers the chance to talk through the vessel with the captain who has operated and maintained her through those cruising seasons. No brokers or middlemen—just one captain handing the helm to the next.

A full library of reference materials for Mavis and her onboard systems supports the personal introduction, with documentation to consult as you get to know the boat.
Learn the working systems.
Discuss operation, equipment, service access and maintenance requirements, with time for practical questions.
Get to know her routines.
Understand the checks, habits and cruising characteristics developed through years of use.
Start with the records.
Walk through the maintenance history and talk openly about completed work, current condition and periodic servicing.

The voyage
home.
For a buyer taking Mavis elsewhere along the Eastern Seaboard, Frank may be available to accompany her on the voyage home.
Any accompanied delivery would be arranged separately after completion of the sale, subject to mutual agreement, appropriate insurance, licensing requirements and availability. The new owner’s insurance must expressly accommodate the agreed participation.
The route, timing, scope and expenses would be discussed separately. No delivery commitment is included in this sales presentation.
